These are the results of the County Council election for the Corby and East Northants Divisions.   We retained our existing 5 divisions, including Corby Rural which was particularly vulnerable due to being contested by 4 strong parties.

Our successful candidates, Heather Smith, Stan Heggs, Dudley Hughes, Sylvia Hughes  and Wendy Brackenbury are congratulated and our unsuccessful candidates, Helen Harrison, Eve Howitt, Christopher Woolmer and David Sims are thanked for putting up such a good fight in what were known to be very strong Labour divisions.  The Liberal Democrat Party seems now to be a busted flush, their third party status having been taken over  by UKIP.

Corby Rural: Conservative Win     Corby West: Labour Win     Corby Oakley: Labour Win    Corby Lloyds: Labour Win   Corby Kingswood: Labour Win

Irthlingborough: Conservative Win   Oundle: Conservative Win   Raunds:  Conservative Win.  Thrapston: Conservative Win

The table of results is attached.
