Dear Members
I just wanted to let you all know that Tom Pursglove has been made a PPS
(Parliamentary Private Secretary) in the Home Office. He told us at the
recent Saturday Task Force meeting that the Home Office was where he most
wanted to be! This is the first rung on the way towards a ministerial career
so I'm sure that you will all want to join me in congratulating Tom. He
works incredibly hard here in the Constituency and has gained a huge amount
of respect from his colleagues for speaking regularly and well in the
chamber.
He deserves this recognition and I'm sure this is just the beginning of
great things to come.
