At a well-attended meeting last night (Friday 5th April 2013) members selected their new Prospective Parliamentary Candidate from a short list of three.   The successful candidate was Thomas Pursglove.

Thomas is 24 years old and has considerably political experience having worked with Peter Bone, MP and Chris Heaton-Harris MP.  He has also worked in the Office of the Rt. Hon. Douglas Hogg QC MP.

Chris Heaton-Harris MP: "Tom was instrumental in encouraging and organising significant numbers of local activists, both from Corby and East Northants, and from the neighbouring Wellingborough constituency, to help in the recent by-election campaign. As his employer, Tom has my 100% support."
