The result of the byelection for Saxon Ward is as follows:
Jayne Gould (Conservative) 600 votes, Labour 583 votes. 23 spoilt papers. Turnout was 1,206 (35.5%) Jayne would like to thank all her supporters for their enormous help in gaining this narrow win.
