A disappointing result after so much hard work. A large turnout for a council by-election particularly in the main town area of Oundle.
A huge thank-you to our marvellous team of volunteers who turned out week after week in all weathers to try to get our great candidate, Ollie Curtis, over the finishing line. The collapse of the Labour and Green vote (which should worry their parties) was a significant factor. Strange how this was the complete opposite to what happened in the Great Oakley NNC election last year when the Lib/Dems were wiped out.
